"Ann and Tom"
As with Rose, I won't say how old Ann is, but the black and white photos kind of speak for themselves. Ann is a life long resident of Scranton, Pennsylvania. Ann too, is not a stranger to the gambling casinos; she is known to visit the casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Some of my earliest memories of Ann are that she always loved beautiful clothing, always was concerned about her appearance, was always very strong willed, had and still has one hell of a temper.
Unfortunately her husband, Tom, past away not too long ago. Tom was a retired Sergeant, with the Scranton police force. I have many fond memories of Tom, who was a person with an easy going personality and a desire to help others. You have to be a nice guy, to loan your car to a seventeen year old brother-in-law. Something that Tom did for me on a number of occasions. He is truly missed.
The song accompanying this page is entitled, "I'll Survive". In view of some of what Ann had to endure, I think it is just a bit fitting.
As far as sisters go, "I wouldn't trade Ann or Rose in for a million bucks." They are the best and being that I'm the youngest of five; I'm very proud that they helped to raise me to be the spoiled jerk that I am. I love them both, even though they pinched me as a baby and still tell me that they found me in a basket on the back porch. I can't recall where I heard it, but many years ago I heard the following: "You can love someone, but not like them." I hope they both like me half as much as I like them..!
